Hosts: Derek Richard Thomas & Lizzie Loch Theme: Why?
In this episode, Derek and Lizzie go deep into the why behind Alchemy Pot — exploring how emotional composting, soil regeneration, and conscious connection can end the inner and outer wars of our time.
They trace the roots of war and conflict back to disconnection — from ourselves, each other, and the earth — and reveal how turning our waste (emotional and physical) into nutrients is the alchemy that restores wholeness.
From the Soil Maker as a tool for reconnection, to the vision of a well-being economy built on love rather than fear, this episode is a call to remember that peace begins at home — and that every act of composting is a vote for a thriving, connected planet.
Welcome & opening reflection this particular tool uh just helps people get rid of the stuff that's making them feel bad because when they feel bad they do bad. Welcome to Alchemy Pot. This is a journey of transformation. Explore the outer consciousness for expression. [Music] Welcome to Alchemy Pot. In this episode, we're going to go deeper into our why. Why Alchemy Pot? Yeah. My name is Derek Richard Thomas and my name is Lizzy Lockach. Why are we doing this? Why are we doing this? Why? Why are we doing this? Why we created Alchemy Pot Are we doing this buddy here? Well, I'll say this and we've talked about this a lot, but when we look around at the world right now and all that's going on in the world and all the trauma and all the fighting and all the wars and all the separation and all the disconnection and when both of us looked at the world, we were like, "Alchemy Pot is probably the absolute best thing that we could be doing right now. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And why is that in your words? Yeah. Because alchemy is here for reconnection. It's here for transformation. It's here finally for us to have the opportunity to take these things that are negative and intense and so often shamed or put into a box and Composting and the end of war not looked at and creating all these harmful behaviors on the planet that are destroying us. But when we do alchemy, whether it's with a soil maker or an alchemy pot process, we are literally getting to transform those densities, that negative into something positive. And therefore, nothing becomes bad. Everything becomes an opportunity for transformation. And right now with all the negative negativity on the planet, we have a huge opportunity to catapult into an entirely new society if we let ourselves. And how do we do that with the alchemy pot? How does the alchemy pot do that? Yeah. So the alchemy pot is a space for transformation and we use that through different tools like the soil maker is one tool that connects us back to the earth and also allows us to do emotional alchemy by processing these densities within us. each one of us. Then we can each one of us become a person of well-being that knows how to process the intensity, knows how to have hard conversation, knows how to turn intensity into love. And then by knowing how to do that within yourself, you gain compassion for people outside of yourself. So when the whole world could do if the whole world could do an alchemy pot right now, even a hundred thousand, a million, a few million people, we wouldn't have war. We'd have connection. People would be empowered doing jobs that they truly love. The society would support people to shining in their unique essence because they'd recognize every one has a unique gift to share. We'd be connected to the earth and like there'd be an abundance of food and fertile soil and the climate would just easefully be in harmony because we in our own being would be in harmony and we'd be in a constant iteration of becoming greater and greater versions of oursel and greater and greater versions of the planet. So, um, can you can you just is there a simpler way of explaining why composting and using a a composter, an alchemy pot would stop war? Like, how how does that what's the what's the line behind that? Let's dive in. So war, I believe, is rooted in separation, is rooted in disconnection. If you feel disconnected from the earth, if you feel disconnected from anything, you're more likely to be okay with hurting it. I think people can even hurt each other in war because they're disconnected from themselves and from each other. And hurt people The Soil Maker as a tool for reconnection hurt people. So I think war is happening because people are living from their wounds. and they don't have a safe way to process them to understand why they could even be okay with harming another individual or killing another individual. And something like the soil maker is a tool for reconnection. It reconnects us back to the earth. And when we're connected to the earth, we're only going to show up and take care of the earth. And it reconnects us back to our self. When we're connected to ourselves, we recognize the interconnection between all people. So if we harm another, we're harming ourselves. There's no separation there. And so war is actually to me the greatest act of self harm. We're living in a very selfharming society. And so to find that sacredness within yourself will inevitably lead to a peaceful harmonious planet. And to make that the standard like the gold standard, we've we've made money a standard. We can make alchemy a gold standard of society, which means no one is ever shamed or blamed or made wrong. Every single person is invited forward no matter what. And there's a space for it. There's a space to face it all. There's a space to love it all. There's a space to go to people that we villainize so hard and say, "I love you. What do you need? Let's transform." And when we can do that within ourselves, starting at home first, within ourselves, within our personal relationships, within with our relationships with our children and our parents and our friends and our beloveds, when we could do it at home first, the entire planet will transform. It will become the new gold standard is alchemy. So peace at home leads to peace on earth. Yeah. Absolutely. It always starts at home. It always starts within ourselves inside out. Yeah. If we're blaming and shaming and harmful inside, you know, I think there's a part of us within there's a part within me. There's a part within you. There's a part within everyone listening that's in war with inside of ourselves. And when we can heal those parts more deeply, I think the war that we externally experience will resolve as well in time in grace, in compassion, in love. And I know for me, for us, like this alchemy pot is an opportunity to create a culture around alchemy. Starting with the soil maker at home. Let's get people connected to themselves and back to the earth because the earth is also talking. Yeah, it's beautiful. And what would you say is the why behind alchemy pot? Well, I would agree. Um, you know, we talk about this a lot. Yeah. And it seems like this particular tool uh just helps people get rid of the stuff that's making them feel bad because when they feel bad, they do bad, From fear to love — transforming inner conflict you know, because it's you just forget Yeah. that we're connected and that everyone is got something in them that placed them here on earth for some reason and they have something to offer. And you know, there's something you can find in in everyone that you like if you're looking for it. And when you're feeling a lot of pain, whether that be emotional pain or mental pain or physical pain or spiritual pain or whatever it is, um it just gets projected outwards, you know. It just it's it's uh when you're scared on the inside, the world's a scary place. Totally. When you're loving on the inside, the world's a loving place. And so we're we're trying to create more love. We're trying to create more transformation of fear into love. U you know ex contraction into expansion and um all of the different ways that people including myself um block like when I block my expression of who I am. Yeah. I feel awful. Yeah. you know, or if I treat somebody with without consideration doesn't feel good. It doesn't feel good. And then I make myself feel bad and then I feel even worse and then I do the same thing again because I'm actually in a loop of feeling bad. Yeah. And so the point is to direct that energy in a different way and let go of whatever shame spiral that is, whatever guilt spiral that is and whatever fear um pattern is sort of taking hold of me personally, you know, then I put it in the pot. Mhm. And when I put it in the pot, it transforms into the soil, which is that the soil I look at is like the environment for growth. Yeah. So, you know what? Did you want to say something to that? No, no, go ahead. Okay. because I wanted to dive into like how I got here with the soil maker because yeah dive in the sort of like the the journey and what I started thinking about in um like around the pandemic was okay like how you know I've always thought in my lifetime could I could I contribute to one of the world's greatest problems um to could contribute to the solution in some way while I'm here. Yeah. Could I tackle one of the big problems? And so like looking at all of the big problems, you know, you got water pollution, you got air pollution, you got pollution in general, you got garbage, you got uh hunger, you got war, you there's so many things. And what I sort of came to and I came to 10 years even before that was soil, you know, and studying soil in college. And when I felt like I could actually direct my life force into uh doing something about soil, I knew that I, you know, if that were to ripple out into the world, it would be affecting water quality. It would be infect affecting, you know, climate, um CO2, like greenhouse gases, like all of these things are affected by soil. But the line of thought was if there's Soil as safety, abundance, and consciousness enough soil, then we grow enough food. If we grow enough food, there's enough abundance. And if there's enough abundance, then people don't have to steal or kill each other to get what they need. Yeah. And if that happens, then we have safety. And if we have safety, we have time to reflect on how to raise our consciousness out of scarcity. And so the more soil being made across the world, the more safety and the more safety, the higher the consciousness. So the block to people making soil is they don't know what soil is. And so that's why I wrote the book, How to Make Soil. And that's why designing the soil maker felt really important to me to have something in a backyard that anyone can use, that anyone could just throw their trash, their food scraps in and it would make soil. They wouldn't have to do anything and they would understand that there's a there's a soil food web, there's worms breaking it down, there's organisms and um that would infect the consciousness in a good way. Yeah. and lead to more safety and lead to a transformation of the earth uh in its consciousness. And so that's sort of the the line of logical thinking. Yeah. That that got me going. Yeah. It's beautiful. And now the why is so much deeper in the alchemy. Yeah. Yeah. But soil I mean the soil maker itself we call it our our ultimate alchemy pot because it's it's transforming this waste that we consider like that normally often people are putting their food into a garbage into a waste bin and then that's going to a landfill and creating pollution. And so it's alchemy because you put that same food in the soil maker and it becomes nutrients for the earth that creates fertile soil that creates that environment for growth. And I do think when when we're taking that action to contribute and to care for something, it's affecting the reality that we live in because it's like every time we do an action, it's like we're voting for the reality we want to live in on some level. And so every time you put your food into the ground, you're voting to live into a reality that has a healthy, connected, abundant, rich planet. And so by you taking that action, you're casting that vote. And so our actions are votes. And when we can, you know, make soil and be a part of that, then we're living in a society that is an environment for growth. And alchemy is transformation. It's all about growth and continuing to grow. And so, you know, when I came across when when Derek first showed me the soil maker, I was like, you know, you channel this sacred object, right? This isn't like a small thing. And it's it's so much more than a composter. It's a it's a tool for regenerating your entire life. It's a true it's a tool for regenerating your entire being. It's a totem. It's a It's a reminder. It's a a being itself to connect you every single day with the earth and the fullness of being within yourself. And that affects everything. Yeah. Yeah. If you think about the connection to the earth, it's not just a Emotional alchemy and the inner soil connection. It's like you are the earth. We are the earth. We are the world. Yeah. Like like really though like you know when you when you go into the soil food web and you can see on how to make soil there's a there's like a I drew it as a as a trophic pyramid. Yeah. But it's really more of a web of an ecosystem that goes this way and that way and this way and that way. There was a simple way of defining it was like bacteria and fungi at the bottom and you have prozzoa nematodes up to you know birds, reptiles and mammals and of course the bugs in the middle and when you when you follow that it's like that's our evolution you know from the rocks which have the parent material of all life. The dirt has the parent material of all life. the life, the the bacteria and fungi have evolved from just extracting the nutrients out of the rocks to uh every form of life on Earth. And it's cool because then that every piece of dirt can become soil because you can um put life in it and then it just creates more life. And on those if those basic kingdoms are fed like bacteria and fungi and you feed them with food scraps then the whole landscape transforms into an abundant rich soil which then transforms into whatever you want. It it can transform into a food forest, a forest, you know of the farm, what however you want to whatever seeds you want to put into it. they will grow. Yeah. Versus not growing. Exactly. And so it's like that when you cultivate a space for transformation, an environment for growth, it's like any anything can grow that you feed it and grow abundantly. And when we do that in our soil and then we do that on a societal and a cultural level, we're creating from abundance. we're creating from well-being. And you know, uh, for me, you know, you come from the soil side, which is really awesome. I come from the emotional side in and we both come from both sides all at the same time. But for me, it was the recognition of one, let's start with the soil because the earth is what holds all of us. And if we're taking care of the earth, it's going to take care of us. And there's this reciprocal relationship that happens. And then the deeper recognition is like, okay, now the earth, we're taking care of the earth. Well, actually, we are nature too. Human beings are nature. So are we taking care of the nature of our biological vessels which we learn how to walk, we learn how to talk, we learn how to eat, but we all feel emotions and we don't learn necessarily, unless your parents are amazing and teach you this. We don't on a societal level learn how to be with our own feelings. Yeah. And to me, that's just wild. And it creates so much disconnection from each other and avoidance and distraction. And we're putting our life force in all these places because we don't actually want to feel our feelings. Yeah. Because we don't know how. Yeah. Because it's not safe. It's not Yeah. Because it's not safe and we haven't learned. There's not a container for it. Exactly. And so for me in the work that I've done over the last 10 years, it's been holding space as an energetic practitioner and helping people to come into deeper emotional well-being and energetic well-being within their own inner landscape. And when Derek and I met, I had written this book that was a course and a group that I ran online called Inner Landscaping. and he was focused on creating, you know, healthy soil in the landscape of the earth. And we realized that in order to do either one of our things, we have to bring them together. And that was the beginning of alchemy pot really being born on its in its fullest expression. Mhm. And so there's for me I find like when we really give space to our inner world and allow those parts to heal then the person we are in the world is different. The way we respond to our The well-being economy child is different. The way we show up in life is different. and to have the opportunity to on a global scale give people tools and simple tools to start making this well-being a part of our culture and it's something I've personally thought a lot about. I went to a well-being economy conference in the Nether. Well, last year personal anecdote, but it feels relevant is last year 2024, the beginning of the year, I ended up at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland hosting guided meditation in a postf integration event in Zurich. And I was able to go into the World Economic Forum events and see just like what's the landscape in this place of like power and money and like what's going on here. And it was amazing to me at how receptive and ready people were for these tools of transformation. Like every single person I talked to was like, "Yes, like we need this. We don't know how." People who run companies, they're having problems in their company because they don't h have the interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. And there was a huge receptivity and almost like a a a thirst for it at the World Economic Forum. like we know we need to evolve in this way and a part of a big part of us also doesn't know how and and and then there was also a lot of the old constructs there as well which you know are a part of life and transformation and um all love to those forms of consciousness and then about 8 months later I ended up at the well-being economy conference in the Netherlands and that one was not rooted in how much money we can make or how much power we can have which is more the original energy line of something like a world economic forum. It's like how big can we be? How loud? The well-being economy conference was about how can we move from well-being? Mhm. And how can like what if we live in a world where every action and decision is made from well-being? And what I love about Alchemy Pot now is I believe that it's a company that is voting for the reality of a well-being economy where we put our well-being first. And what will happen in our world when we hold our well-being as the highest value? Because not holding it, first of all, doesn't save you money. It's very expensive to not be in well-being, expensive financially and also expensive in the life that you're living. And so to reframe what our values are on a cultural level, I think is to me one of the most important things that I could be doing as my contribution and we could be doing as a contribution to invite forward that that transformation no matter where you've come from and no matter what you've done. And I've worked with people who have ran companies who have done a lot of things they're not proud of. But it doesn't matter once you're willing to transform and you're willing to be better and you're willing to grow. Yeah. The old self has to die multiple times in this life in order to keep evolving. You know, bugs get the luxury of casting off their shells. Y snakes cast off their skin. We go through a transformation every what 9 years. Every cell in our body gets replaced. Mhm. It's like our beliefs and our emotional constructs and traumas Yeah. are staying in our bodies from childhood all the way through our life. And we have no place to put it until now. Yeah. and and and those specifically those traumas are the ones that create more of them. They're what drives people to kill each other. They're what drives people to go to war with each other. Mhm. There would like those particular wounds Scarcity vs. abundance create a dynamic that safety is not prevalent and and abundant. You know, it's you're not safe. So, you have to stick out some thorns. And so, you know, one of the ways to illustrate this is it's perfectly normal to see a cactus in the desert. And in an emotional desert, you might hoard all your resources and stick out thorns. Yeah. Right. And that's what we're living in. Not everyone, but there's a prevalent culture. Yeah. Of desertification on an emotional level that is also reflected in the desertification of the land. all over the planet through its extractive belief system. Yeah. Yeah. So we believe that everything we must take and use in order to garner more resources as opposed to if you look at an abundant soil, you'll have a fruit tree that drops its fruit not only to back to itself but to anyone who wants the fruit. And so it's this like ongoing um energetic flow which just gives and gives and gives and has enough for itself and more and more. And then there's a reciprocity, but it's not at a a tit for tat. It's it's a uh it's just a giving. It's just a well-being. And so that emotionally Yeah. is exactly what it sounds like. I mean it's just giving from a well-being you know place and from a whole and complete place a place that uh you know when we when we give when we when we give or we take it comes in through the layer of self right so if we're extracting to give to oursel and taking and consuming to give to ourself um we give to oursel but we take from others and when we give to others we're also giving to ourselves and others. Yes. So whether you're contracting or expanding it does go through the self. You benefit either way. But wouldn't it be better to benefit both yourself and the other person? Absolutely. cuz it's it it all, you know, it all comes back to you in one way or another. And gosh, even if it didn't, like why not give and contribute towards the well-being of life existing on and expanding and becoming its best version of self? Well, let's explore that. Why not? Yeah. Why not? Like really, why not? Like like what is the reason? Yeah. Like let's let's really wear that. Like why not? Like Mhm. Cuz there's not enough to go around. That's the illusion, right? Is there's not enough to go around. But like even then, why not? Like we're here in this time for a finite period of time. Why not give everything you've got? Yes. But I'm saying, could we explore? Yeah. The actual other side of it. I get it. You believe and I believe. We both believe to give, give, give. But it's happening because there's good reasons for it. Okay. That a lot of people believe in. So let's let's put those into the light. Let's put those into the light. We're going to talk about things here to bring them into the light because we believe that will help transformation preface. There is no judgment to what we talk about. It's all an opportunity to view constructs and densities to bring them into the light. That's right. That's what we're going to do. And darkness just my, you know, my personal relationship to it is lack of light. Exactly. So, let's look at it. So, let's put a candle in that room. Put the candle. You know, it's almost like if there was a room, let's say we're in a room and uh the blackout curtains, you know, and all that, there's no light. Yeah. So then it's infinitely dark. Mhm. Right. And infinite is for like forever. And so if there's something that we're not willing to look at, it's infinitely dark, which means it's huge. It's inconceivably huge. M that makes it scary. Scary. So let's look at it. So why Well, hold on. I just want to finish that thought. When you bring a candle into a dark room like that, you can see the corners. You can see, oh, there's a door. Oh, we're in this type of room or we're in a whatever space it is. Soon as you put a candle in it, uh it makes it less scary. And uh when you add another candle in it, all light adds to the same light. It's a principle of light. And so the more light you can put in, the more candles you can put into it, voila, voila. It was just a lack of light. So all the dark awful things that go on on this world I believe is a a lack of light. And so that's why I think bringing these things out of the darkness and like really exploring the why. Yes. Why we think it's benefiting us. Yes. To live these ways. Yes. may help um bring about the awareness to actually release and let go of those beliefs and see how how how silly it was to be scared of a room that I thought was infinitely dark that actually just you put a candle in there and it wasn't so bad at all. It wasn't so bad at all. So, we're going to do some alchemy and we're going to bring these constructs that we think are why not into the light and then we're going to put them in the alchemy pot right here and give them to the earth for transformation. And we invite you listening with us to feel that part within you as we speak to it. If you feel it within you or you can recognize it in the world, however you feel it is okay. recognize it and let's all hold a witness energy towards it and a loving energy towards it. And you know, as we do that, let's bring light to some of these constructs that have kept us in fear and disconnection as to why not live in a well-being economy. Why not? And let me ask you this. Yeah. um how come scarcity is so uh prevalent like as a belief system that people buy into. So I would say it's because of fear. Mhm. that there's not enough and fear that one is not worthy and fear that one is not enough. That each person is not enough. and fear of separation and fear that if you're not enough enough and you're not worthy then there is not enough because there's a fear that one does not have inherent value and then there's a fear that one is disconnected from the entire whole of creation and in that fear and in that illusion of separation ation. There's a need to hoard, to be scarce, The illusion of separation to take, to extract, to hold on to tightly. What might come your way? A scarcity. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. That that exists under the surface, right? That's it kind of in the roots. Yeah. What what might be a reason that that would make sense to someone? Yeah. Like that would tempt them into believing that they needed to hoard. Like not the unworthiness because like Yeah. If you're So that's at the root level. So you're talking about so talk about values and Yeah. really values. Yeah. No, a value would be like you know I have to provide for my family. So like I need to hoard everything I got. It's a jungle out there. Yeah. It's a a belief would be Yeah. It's a jungle out there. If I don't go take from somebody, they might take from me. And and and that's just how the world works. So it's just how it's just how the world works. It's scary out there. People take from each other. There's beliefs that people don't care. So I have to, you know, value myself above other people because if I don't then I won't get enough. I think it maybe be in the values. Um and then I think the habits are you know um taking stealing um you know we had a I'm going to share this story but we you know there we had an experience recently where we got ripped off on Facebook marketplace for buying a sauna. And there's no sauna. There was no sauna. Didn't exist. And we were on one profile and then I go on another profile and message them again to ask about the sauna and um to find out it definitely didn't exist cuz they also tried to sell it to both profiles. It was a scam. It was a scam. But then I got the guy's number and I asked him like why are you doing this? Like why? like, you know, like there's other opportunities out there for you to make money. Like what what within you is compelling you. And um at first they pretended to be someone who needed to pay for their family, which was a lie. And then slowly they started to reveal their colors. And he was like, I'm a kid in Africa. I don't know how else to make money. Like this is just the culture, which is the soil. This is just the culture that that I've learned. And in the culture then that we teach people it's like you have to extract, you have to steal. I mean from his perspective who's you know rich Americans like why not take from them like they don't know the difference. So you see what's on the media like it it doesn't mean they're a bad person. It's just the culture that they're living in has taught them that that's what you do to survive. Yeah. And there's a separation. Absolutely a separation. They're different over there in that country than they are here. So, it's okay to hurt them, right? That's the illusion of countries. Totally. And in cultures and separations, like just because they don't believe or think or act like I do, then I can invalidate their humanity and take from them. And you know what I've seen too from people who are in high positions of of power is um a real dehumanization. You know, I asked someone once who's a very successful entrepreneur in the world and doing some great things and some things I just don't agree with. And and I and I asked like why why are you you know wanting to keep people in small boxes separated on their media all day consuming violence. You know it was a violent video game producer. And that's not my personal values. But I still was friends with this person. I still had dinner with this person. I was still curious. Like there's no judgment. but it just wasn't in alignment with what I value. And I asked why and he just said that basically they didn't matter. Basically that that's what they were choosing anyways and like just kind of like feed the mouse the cheese. And so I think sometimes there's this pedestalling that happens and it's happened since you know times of kingdoms where it's like people in these perceived places of power assume to be better than others but I think that actually comes from a deep unworthiness within to even assume you're better than anyone. Can you explain that little nugget right there? M to assume you're better than other people actually is unworthiness. Yeah, absolutely. Anyone I think who is asserting their power and control over another human being does not feel worthy within their own being. Because if you truly feel worthy within yourself, you don't need to push another person down to stand up tall. And this can happen in all of us in subtle ways and in loud ways. It's happened within myself and and it happens in very loud ways with public leaders. Mhm. You know, where we see people, you know, look down at others. Even it can happen if you're looking down at someone who has a different political view than you. just you're still looking down at that other human. Doesn't mean they're justified in their rights, but something I deeply value and something we value in Alchemy Pot is like everyone gets a voice at the table. You don't have to agree, but we have an opportunity to see where the choices and the actions are coming from. And we have the opportunity to create more healing and more love and um if anyone present so chooses. Judgment vs. discernment Yeah. I mean, I I I'm of the belief that the only way to change society is a starting with yourself. Uh and the only way to change yourself is not to guilt or shame yourself into changing. Yeah. there. There's a easy habit of judgment um that comes in to sort of dictate what's right and what's wrong. Totally. The judgment one is a big one. It's a big one. It's a big one. And we benefit from it because well, we have to agree on some things. what's right or what's wrong, you know. And yeah, if I may, on the judgment, I think a distinction that's really important is there's a huge distinction between judgment and discernment. And I think discernment is pivotable in like discerning what's true for you, discerning what's resonant for you, discerning what your heart and your soul's expression feels aligned to and connected with. So what's the difference? Judgment is then shaming or making wrong anything that's not that. Discernment is the wisdom to know when something's not for you and to walk another way and to create a new path. So preference, it's preference, but I'd say deeper than preference. It's like at the soil level of yourself. It's at the soul level of yourself and it's connected to like your heart's alignment. Whereas preference I would see, you know, connected very much to discernment. But discernment takes a willingness to like it's like you could choose to be non-judgmental, but then let people walk all over you and go into situations left and right that aren't aligned because there's no discernment filter there. But when there's a discernment filter there, then from there you'll develop preference, but not preference before discernment. M and then thing then then that discernment you don't have to judge those things or make them wrong or shame those things which is when I think discernment gets out of balance is there's a part of us that's judging something that maybe needs to acknowledge like oh I don't agree with that that's fueling a fire within me but what's actually the discernment that's being invited forward and so it's not to just make judgment wrong and bad. It's to actually connect with that fire and do some alchemy and like what's what's being invited forward within them within the self. what's being triggered and then the wisdom of truth within can be seen because it's so easy to say I'm not going to judge things but then these things are coming up and you just try to change your mind but until you come in contact with like what that ping is and I think we almost need less judgment and shaming each other but more discernment in like God, there's so many things happening on the planet and if we we need a degree of of judgment and clear healthy discernment to create new pathways and to go like wait a second that's not okay and like wait a second I don't have to judge and shame someone but I can hold a boundary and I can invite forward a new path and I can stand stronger in myself and my truth and Then I can thank the heck out of that person for bringing me into a greater version of myself. I can thank the heck out of that situation for bringing all this stuff up within me that challenged me that's inviting me forward, you know. Yeah. But that's the long answer of judgment part versus discernment. Yeah. Well, when it comes to to change and transformation, um I think what you do with the judgment Mhm. is compost. Mhm. Absolutely. Is letting go is alchemy. Yeah. Is you know that's because you don't want to judge the Composting emotions and turning pain into medicine judgment. Yeah. You know, touche. You you you want to activate the lessons in it and the medicine that is in the judgment or the anger or the upset or the trigger like whatever is coming up uh has within it like a seed uh an oak tree of knowledge. Yeah. you know, um, uh, the experience is there for you to receive something and in order to unlock it, you have to unravel it. And so, the way that you can unravel something uh, is by alchemizing it in the pot because in the at the soil level, they break it down. They they the worms, you know, are the are the questions. Mhm. that peel it open layer by layer and so then the wisdom is revealed within it. Uh and I think up until this point we've had there there are many tools and this is this is one of them. Mhm. And but this is such a simple one. It's such a straightforward easy one that also regenerates the world and takes the biggest one to one simple solution which is the food scraps that are ending up in landfill that are polluting the earth like and not just like a little bit a lot the the atmosphere is is like there's so much CO2 which is greenhouse gases which is really an opportunity for plants to do well on this planet, but they don't have the soil to grow in, right? So, Soil making as a planetary solution we got to make the food scraps make the soil. It's just like it's just right there. It's right there. Just put the food scraps in the ground and we make soil, then the trees grow, and then they sequester the carbon, and the whole thing's back into balance, and the only thing we have to deal with is plastic. Mhm. Yeah. So, the solutions to all the world's problems are quite easy. Just get a soil maker, make soil at home, and alchemize your emotions, and we're all going to live happy, healthy, harmonious, freaking awesome lives. Yeah. So on the emotional side right like the politicians and the leaders of of countries right in our country in other countries they are a reflection of us of us and the soil of society because that's what's grown out of the dry crusty dirt you know in the emotional desert. emotional desert. Like of course we have problems with our politics. We we haven't cultivated the soil yet. Yeah. So like what a incredible opportunity to get down to the soil al soil alchemy soil level. do some soil alchemy and and grow an environment where naturally we're going to grow a new political system where naturally different political healthy like beings are going to come into coherence with each other because they'll be in coherence with themselves but like it's our responsibility as a member of society to contribute to that soil and I think the soil of politics has just been based on illusions and lies and separation. So, who knows what's real in that scene, right? Yeah. Well, I I think uh you know, trying to understand it without without judgment. Yeah. You know, is is how it gets transformed. Totally. Witnessing something, right, is comp is compassionately looking at it. Yeah. and seeing it as best you can from their perspective. And I think what happens is our wounds on an individual level get out pictured in our leaders. Totally. And so do our virtues. Absolutely. And so do our, you know, and we can take responsibility for who we end up with on some level. Mhm. Because they didn't vote themselves in. Yeah. Unless they did. Unless they did. That's another conversation. Either way. Yeah. It's like Yeah. Go ahead. Well, what I want to highlight and double click on that you're speaking to is the witness opportunity. And it is like and you can have the judgment, but you can witness your own judgment. Like I'm certainly not beyond judgment. I have the judgments, but I witness the judgments to the best of my degree and and from a neutral perspective love them and in that send light to them so that they can become alchemized. And then we could do the same thing with our political leaders, with our judgments of the political landscape. And then we can hold the true alchemical container where we can witness and we can send love and we can allow a transformation to happen through like you said the compassion energy. And so when we're compassionate, our brains go from like separation and just labeling someone as bad and evil into The mirror between leaders and society okay, I can acknowledge what is. I can see what is. I'm not going to lie to myself about what is, but now I can hold love for what is and then I can ask hold compassion for what is. And in that compassion, may it transform. And in that process of holding this transformation within myself, may I be invited into a new way of being within my own inner soil. And then may I contribute to literally making healthy soil on the planet and contribute to being part of a healthy soil of society so that the children in the next generations to come will naturally grow. more connected things because that will be the culture and that's really a big heart of of alchemy pot. Yeah. Yeah. It's like it's like we're all little candles. Mhm. And there's like a armor around each candle that's blocking the light. And so as we take off those pieces of armor and we put them into the pot, they dissolve and our light shines brighter. The essence of who we are, that light. And then the principle of light you know which I think is attributed to Newton which is that all light adds to the same light which is you know so you being the vi the brightest most vibrant version of yourself actually makes the whole world brighter because it all adds to the same light everywhere around the planet. So like you're saying, you know, like being that soil in your community creates more light in that area which then ripples out. It does ripple out to the world. And the where where you start is what wound does that leader have that also might exist in me. Yes. That I could work on in me. Totally. And then maybe that gets out pictured. Mhm. maybe the new, you know, like because we can't change them, but we can try to understand what it is that they're reflecting to us. Totally. And then here's the trick. The trick the caveat I find in in in the alchemy process is once you've done that and you've found that love for that part of yourself and you've given that and you've given that healing even if the external does not shift you stay in the shift within yourself. Mhm. So I think it's like almost this level of letting go of the external needing to shift because you've done the inner work that actually allows more space for it Witnessing fear with love to shift, right? But not because it's it's needing to because in that there's also I do believe a a level of honoring another person's journey and choice and soul path. And so maybe that person's journey and choice and soul path isn't going to go on an evolutionary path, but that doesn't matter because you are and you are voting for a reality that will lead to that which inevitably you will create and move more into. So it's not for me it's not attaching to as soon as I shift they're that person is going to shift necessarily but it's as soon as I shift I'm going to start creating a reality that's more representative of myself. So my experience of that person may become abs obsolete and they may leave my life or it will be very different because I'm different. Yeah. It doesn't mean they're different but I'm different. It reminds me of the um the quote change the way you look at something and the thing itself changes. Yeah. You know, it's like that you just your relationship your relationship to the thing changes changes and the thing itself changes because you're looking at it completely different. You know, even if it doesn't change, even if it does, it Well, yeah. It's like someone could you could be with a child who's having a tantrum and you can get all worked up and be like, "Oh my god, this child's having a tantrum. Like, what do I do? I should react. Like, they're freaking out." Or that child might have the same tantrum and you can just hold for it and know that like it's going to pass. And you can then ask the child what it needs or just hold space. That child is doing the same thing from their perspective. They'll probably get out of the tantrum much faster by you holding the field of love. But even if they didn't, the way you're relating to it is different. And that's up to you. Well, and I think that there's a a mirror symmetry in light and dark. M so just like all light adds to the same light. I think all fear adds to the same fear. If we're calling light love and darkness fear, then when we react to fear with fear. Yeah. The sum total of fear gets multiplied. M. Mhm. You know, and so when uh when somebody in a position of power, for example, illusionary power, when somebody in a position of power in our, you know, reality and our social structure and our political structure creates environments of fear that are then reacted to, yes, in emotions of fear, an energy in motion of fear, anger, sadness, like that feeds the in the fear. Yeah. Because it resonates with it. And when there's resonation, the the wave doubles. So like in music, you know, or sound, if you have two of the same notes playing at the same time, they double their volume. Mhm. So if you have two things of fear, they double in volume. And same thing with two things of love. Totally. And so when these things of fear, though, it doesn't seem logical to just allow them to happen. And that's not what I'm saying. But what I'm saying is that there's a way to energetically respond Yeah. to fear with love. Absolutely. And I think that's that's the alchemy process is holding that fear with love with with witness so that it can transform and that fear within with that loving even when you're in the middle of experiencing it. Having a greater awareness of like okay this I'm I'm first by naming it I think helps a lot in the alchemy process of naming the fear. Yeah. The elephant in the room. How did it get to be an elephant? It get to be an elephant. That's huge. And then you look at the fear and you realize, "Oh my god, it's an elephant, but it's wearing a rainbow wig." But but it started off as a mouse and it's strapped to a fence, but the fence it thinks it's strapped to the fence, but the fence is the string isn't even tied, but it hasn't moved for years cuz it thinks it's strapped to this fence. And then you you start to deconstruct the thing pretty quickly when you just look at it. Yeah. and see it for what it is and and see perhaps where it's it's coming from. And you know, for us with alchemy pot, it's an opportunity to to be with those fears, to let those fears transform and to catch yourself because it's a part of life when you're in the fear or when you're in the fear resonance with something in your life and to find the opportunity to cultivate more love within yourself. what like whatever that thing externally is highlighting and without the alchemy process people are just amplifying each other's field fear and creating fields of fear and our intention is to create fields of love to create fields of healthy nourishing rich soil and spaces that process the fear The Alchemy Pot community garden so to allow more space for love as well. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Which is containers of transformation, which is our our soil maker alchemy pot, which is our our physical spaces online that we're doing that are deep dive containers of transformation and our tree of transformation pods. Yeah. That start at the beginning of next year. And our fire alchemy pods. are every month where we get to go through like where are we coming from in in our life in our situations in our actions and find where those fears are so we can transform them. And so our mission here is to really hold a field of transformation with products and spaces and experiences so that we create a culture where people get to evolve into brighter versions of themselves and a culture that accepts the negative and invites it into positive. And so it's like everything becomes an opportunity for gold. Yeah. Everything. That's the cool thing is that we're we're holding the space and the community all benefits from everyone's like it's really the the you you know the waste the stuff that you you you don't know what to do with the fear the anger the sadness if you have a space like we're creating uh and have have it. Then you have a community of people who actually benefit. You have a garden. You have a garden. You have a garden that benefits from everything we put in here. And so metaphorically, we have an online community. Uh so let's physically so in the emotional metaphor of making soil is that's our soil is our community. Mhm. And so when you put in your your food scraps, you know, you you you help the garden, you know, and and you help the world because you then get to process and break down some of those fears that turn into then breakthroughs and allow you to really transform your life. I mean, this is a spaceship of transformation. It really is. It's a space and it's a ship that'll quantum leap you into a completely different reality as it has for me. I mean since this thing came into my life. I mean my life is completely different now. Totally. I mean same you know since it Yeah. came into my life. My life is completely different now. And we just put a saddle on it and we just we're just riding through space through space you know. Yeah. And like it is it's it's a portal of connection and a portal of transformation. And when you transform, you know, that part within you, you do arrive at a different reality. Yeah. It's the coolest thing. And and I've seen it so many times within my own journey and within other people's journeys as well. It's like you get to become a greater version of yourself. So then by default the kind of people you're interacting with change. The kind of experiences you have change because you're changed. Your soil transforms. Your soil transforms. The environment you're in every day transforms. You grow beautiful things in places where you once had like you know not healthy things going on in your life. You have healthy things going on in your life because the the soil is healthy. And so what grows in healthy soil is healthy plants. Yeah. And healthy trees. And and uh you know Living from well-being we we are um the world. I know. I lost a train of thought. We are the world. Um Oh. Mhm. So what that means on a tangible level, yeah, is more peace, more loving, more space, more breath, more focus, more clarity, more enjoyment, more happiness, more fulfillment and purpose because all of the things that are weighing you down now have a place to go. That isn't just a landfill. It's not a dump site. Mhm. It's not dumping it on your therapist. It's actually transforming it into the nutrients of the garden. Yes. It's it's actually benefiting others. So, it turns out all that crap you've been lugging around is actually useful and really good for something that you just didn't know. You didn't know it yet. And so it's it's all that energy and and you know it's like all that energy can use it's um I had a teacher once tell me that that nerves were just excess energy and then when you channel those nerves into creation and so anxiety, fear, it's all just excess energy. And so you can use that energy, that that power to channel it into something good, to alchemize it into something great. So it's like, okay, you're feeling a really a lot of fear right now. Heck yeah, you got a lot of energy to pull from. Like, let's transform it into something great and make the world better. Like, let's go. I say the same thing with uh singing. Yeah. It's like when you get really scared or really angry or sad when a a song is coming up that you're going to sing. It's actually like a surfer who needs a wave to ride on. If you don't have the wave and you're and you're just like this, uh you can't stand up on the board. Yeah. So with with sound, with music, you know, the the waves are actually really helpful to to give you the the exact energy you need to to go to higher levels than you could without that energy. So in the same way, I couldn't agree more. And I think the waves are a gift. I think the emotions are a gift. And we're just at the precipice of understanding the freaking fantastic gift that they are. like the fear becoming energy, like you know the anger becoming precision and like this sort of freaking truth that goes into our reality if we use that anger to just be like precise with energy and like you know the the sadness becoming this well of water and life when we release it and we restore our rain water cycles within and like All of these emotions are energy in motion to be used. And so when we put them in the alchemy pot, we bring the motion of life that they were always meant to be and bring them forward. And they all hold gifts on the other side of our perception and our belief. And so alchemy pot is an opportunity to truly transform from the inside out. Yeah. And we're so grateful. Yeah. I mean, it does it when you put your food scrap in, it goes down from the inside. Mhm. And all of the nutrients come out. Little wormies. Wormies coming out. Worms go in, they break it down, then they come out, and then they they, you know, put all the nutrients in the surrounding area. And that's how it never fills up is because there's always life in here. There's always there's always worms. There's always bugs and stuff breaking all this stuff down. So, yeah, life supports life. So, that's why we're doing this. That's why we're doing this at Alchemy Pot. And if you resonate, if you're here at this podcast podcast, then we really thank you for being here. And um we appreciate the support to get as many on the planet as possible. Yeah. And yeah, anything you want. If you want a spaceship of transformation, look no further. Uh nothing else exists like it on the planet. Truly, I don't even get one for outside and also inside. I love our inside one. It's kind of great. It's cool. Anyways. Yeah. Yeah. This is a journey of transformation. Explore the outer consciousness.
