Hosts: Derek Richard Thomas & Lizzie Loch Theme: The Energy Behind Everything
In Episode 3, Derek and Lizzie explore “the come from” the energy behind every word, action, and creation.
They dive into how our intention shapes what we grow, whether in soil, art, or relationships. When we act from fear, control, or lack, that energy ripples outward. But when we “come from” love, presence, and authenticity, everything we touch becomes fertile ground for transformation.
Through stories, reflection, and gentle humor, they unpack the difference between Love and Fear, inviting you to pause, breathe, and ask: What’s the Come From?
This episode reminds us that true creation begins not with what we do, but with the energy we do it from.
Listen now to ground your actions in alignment, authenticity, and soul.
Opening & Meditation If you have something in your soul, you were speaking to this earlier with the paintings or with the art or whatever. If it's coming from the soul, yeah, good luck not honoring it. Yeah, good luck. I mean, it's the most painful existence there is. Welcome to Alchemy Pot. This is a journey of transformation. for the outer consciousness. [Music] My name is Derek Richard Thomas and my name is Lizzy Lockach and this is Alchemy Pot. This is episode three and we're going to be talking about the come from which is very exciting. Yeah. Yeah. Would you like to lead us in a meditation? I'd love to. So, we're going to do a short couple minute meditation to just connect into the space and find more presence. If you're driving, keep your eyes open. And if you're not, I invite you to close your eyes for a second and let yourself just fully arrive. So, close your eyes and just take a deep breath in. Take a deep breath in. And as you breathe in, allow your breath to soften you. And allow your entire being to be softened by your breath. And as you allow your whole being to be softened by your breath, I invite you to breathe into all the parts of your body. from the toes and the feet. Bringing air to the toes and the feet and bringing oxygen to the legs, to the torso, to all your organs, to your shoulders, to your arms, to your hands, to your neck, to your head. And as you fill your body with this oxygen, just allow yourself to be fully here. Give yourself permission to really listen and receive what it is for you to receive from this podcast. what it is for you to hear and what it is that this space is reflecting back to you in your own life and inviting forward within your own life and in your own being. And I invite you to place an intention in your heart for yourself, for your life, for this moment. Place that intention into your heart. And then when you're ready, I invite you to arrive again to a new now. To the gift of a new now. And here we are again. Here we are again. It's good to see you again. Nice to see you. Sitting here living my dream. Living my dream and again. Yeah. So the come from this is a this is a tool by the way. This is a u something we came up with that uh is part of the alchemy pot offering of you know different things that we are giving out What is “The Come From”? to the world. Next episode is going to be the tree of transformation. Yeah. Um but this is the come from and the come from is it goes something like this. Um can I could I please? So the come from is is what I'm doing right there at the top and then you follow the line of energy down to why I'm doing it. So you think anything you're doing and you can follow trace down the energy of why I'm doing it. And it's going to be one of two energies. It's going to be either love or fear. And the way we think about love is expansion. And the way we think about fear is contraction. So I'll leave this um up. We could pull that up. But that's essentially the tool and how you use it is you shift your fear come from to love. And it's a easy way a pneumonic to just say what's the come from? you know, yeah, why am I doing this? It's a it's a self um sort of auditing tool, you know. Yeah, it's a it's a self-awareness piece to to recognize that it's not about the thing itself. It's why you're doing the thing. Why are you saying what you're saying in a conversation? Why are you choosing what you're choosing in life? Why are you making like making decisions, actions, conversations, connections? Why are you connecting with that person in your life? And is it fear? Is it fear? Is it love? Is it love? Why are you saying that to your partner? Is it fear? Is it love? And so you start to become aware of why you're doing things in in even micro moments. Why are you getting on your phone and scrolling on social media right now? Is it fear? Is it love? You know, all of these little moments throughout our day, we can start to become self-aware of why we're doing them. Because a lot of times I don't even know why I pulled up my phone until I really see and think about it and go, "Oh, I I felt uneasy for a moment and then I dove in." And so that's a that's a fear come from. You know, but a lot of times the the come from is actually split into both. Yeah. And that's a sort of a a nuance, but it's it's the most normal example is that it's both, you know, it's just depending it's like 50/50, 8020, 9010, whatever it is. Yeah. And and in this process, there's a recognition. You become more self-aware of like, okay, I was maybe coming from more fear in that moment and less love. So, what within myself is being invited forward to come into more love and and less fear. And the reason why this is so important before we dive into more examples is because the energy you give out one you get back. So it's not often about the action that you're doing. It's the energy behind the action. So if you're doing an action in love, you're creating more love in the universe, in your life, and you're giving more love. If you're doing an action from fear, you're creating more fear and you're giving more fear and then you're going to get more fear back. And so, yeah. Well, I just want to expand on that. You know, the way I look at that is like, you know, in the last episode or the one before it, I forget, but we were talking about how soil when you zoom into it, it's like little planets, you know, like floating in space. And then you zoom out, it's like planets. It is planets floating in space. And so zooming in and zooming out is irrelevant. And so our size and the our bodies is our experience. But when everything is held together by energy, then the energy ripples out into the universe. And so that's what I feel like you mean when you say that when you resonate with the love, you're putting out more love into the world and to the universe because whether it's you know a grain of sand or smaller, you know, or a a you know, a wing of a butterfly. It's the butterfly effect. You know, it ripples throughout the whole universe that come from that love or that fear. And in a universe, love is the expanding, you know, they say the universe ex is always expanding. Yeah. Well, then it also has black holes. So, the black holes are those pockets of fear, those little come froms of fear. And the love is the expansion. And so when your come from is love, you're aligning yourself with the love of the entire universe. Yeah. I just can't help but put my hands up here when I Yeah. Exactly. And then to even go underneath that is if you're come from with your life and with yourself and with your own personal transformation is also love. And that's the energy that's holding all of your desire to grow and holding your life holistically. Then when you find these places within that are coming from fear, you're even meeting that recognition with love. So you're not making yourself wrong for coming from fear in any Love vs. Fear — Expansion vs. Contraction situation because you're even holding that in love. Wow. So that's for me my journey of inner work has been a lifelong journey but consciously like how I've been actually aware of it really catapulted when I became a parent and that was the moment that I knew okay there's generational trauma coming down the line there's like all these things that you know people now know about, you know, and talk about is like, you know, um it became like so important for me to deal with everything that was in me so I didn't pass it down the line, you know, and that was such a big catalyst to start doing inner work. And when I dove into the inner work and started to really unravel some of that stuff, one of the things I realized was that my come from was fear that I was trying to avoid passing trauma down to my child. And that is fear because I'm worrying about a scenario that I do not prefer and that I do not want. And so shifting the come from into love had to be something that you know mirrored the expansion of the universe. It had to mirror inside out. It had to come from my soul and it had to look like growth, like a flower blooming. And what it became is me being the fullest expression of myself and what my soul is here to do is a come from of love that achieves the same goal as not passing down the generational trauma, but it's not a a fear come from M the fear come from was I don't want to pass it down. Oh no, I better not you know I better like start reading every book I can to and a lot of parent you know like this is this is a normal thing that we do. This is a normal reaction and for a long time I thought it was a very good reason to do something and what I've realized is that it's a fear come from and fear only contracts and shrinks and gets smaller and is really rooted in trauma so it creates more trauma. It like fear adds to fear and love adds to love. Yeah. And so that's that just you saying that is uh bringing that forward. Yeah, thank you for sharing. I think that's a powerful one to speak to because it's having that recognition is so nuanced especially with something like parenthood that's such a a huge thing and to be able to recognize that subtlety of like I don't want to pass this down and then recognize that subtle energetic is going into everything. It's like if you're doing something and you're trying to get better because you don't want to hurt people, then sudden subtly in your energy field is this energy of like, oh no, I don't want to hurt people. I don't want to hurt people. I don't want to hurt people, so I'm going to try to be good so I'm not hurting people. And then paradoxically, you're more likely to hurt people. But then you're also in this like shame spiral for every single time that you're not perfect. Yeah. All your attention is on hurt people. Exactly. You know, it's it's like they say, the words are so important and naming what you want as opposed to what you don't want is how you get to where you want to go. And when you say, "I don't want to hurt people," you're really just saying, "I hurt people." Yeah. The don't is sort of just left out. Exactly. And so if you say, "I want to help people." I want to help people. I want to love people. Then your awareness is on the helping people. Yeah. It's just like that simple shift and not using words like I mean there's so many that are really prevalent right now that uh seem like a good thing. But the way the word structure emits an energy, it uh it does the opposite of what they're trying to do. And it's like not out of malicious intent hopefully. Um it's just out of like I'm just speaking to what I don't want because that seemed like a better thing to say than the thing that I do want. And I think that's the focus and then that just creates more of it. So I'm curious to ask a a a heartfelt question in like when you made that shift from coming from what you don't want like now within yourself, how do you relate to, you know, like what's your come from? What you said in like being the fullest expression of you? Um like what's the come from in in parenthood now on the positive side that's also about personal growth. Well, the cool thing about kids is that they they there's a lot there's a lot of cool amazing things. Um, but they do what you do. They don't do what you say. So, and not that I'm an expert on being a parent, but in my experience, um, it's it's I in that framing of my own how how I bring myself to the situation or approach the idea of it is like I'm then in control of what I can control, which is how I behave and how I conduct myself and me being the fullest expression of myself is what she sees. So hopefully she's inspired to do the same. And me being loving to myself inspires her to do the same. me being so it's really I get to like fill my own cup and it's for her benefit. Yeah. But ultimately once again that love energy is inside out. It has to be. That's what nature does is it it allows that flower to bloom. And if I'm contracting, my natural energy is expanding. And so you're fighting this expansion. And so that's where that's where a lot of uh you know chronic diseases and like you get a lot of problems because you get a lot of dissonance and discord with like these two opposing forces rubbing against each other like expansion and contraction. And the contraction is natural. But if you notice, kids and babies are very expansive. They're so expressive. They're so free to be who they are. And so for me, my daughter is more of a teacher to me than I am for her. The only thing I'm trying to model is that's not really my come from. my come from is to be the fullest expression of myself. And so hopefully she gets to see that and and loves that and you know, but mostly I try to just pay attention to how she behaves because she's coming from wherever she's coming from on the other side coming in born into this earth. And from what I've noticed about babies and kids, they know a lot more than we do about being. And so I try to pay more attention than control what she does and and tell her how to how to live because from what I've seen, she knows more than I do about how to be on this planet. So that's that's sort of my approach. And there's things, you know, I'm I'm a guide. Uh I get to be her father, but I am not an owner. There's there's not a that that's not the energy. That's a fear come from, right? That's that's a you know I get to sort of be the bumpers. Mhm. But she it's about her expression in this life cuz she's a whole person. Parenthood & Generational Healing She's going to be 80 years old one day. She's going to be 100 years old. Hopefully she's going to be a grandma someday. And you know the best you I just get to be here guiding throughout her life as a as an anchor and as a someone who who sends her that love and light in the in the times that we we have together you know that's that's I think a role of that's how I like to orient myself and the come from of Yeah. of of conducting myself as a as a parent. Yeah. I think there's a lot of wisdom in that and a lot of wisdom in learning to from children and babies because I do think when we come into this world our come from has a general disposition to be from our heart and to be from our soul. And if you spend a lot of time with children, you see how free in themselves they are, how how like they'll move from their their heart. There's not this separation of like people in the world. They learn those things. And sometimes they learn them very quickly from society, but before they've really learned them and taken them on, it's like their expression is uninhibited. And that come from to me is something to be learned from because it's it's coming from such a pure place within. And I think so often in our life as humans and as adults, we we learn all these things from the world about how you have to be, how you have to like externalize yourself, how you have to be professional, how you have to follow these rules of society. And in that our come from sometimes can move more into fear and more away from our truest essence. And we form these identities that then we build our lives from. And sometimes we don't even know that we're inside this whole identity that we've fabricated or have learned to create because that's a safe identity to create our life from. And then that part that gets forgotten sometimes is that innocent essence that that is our true nature, that is our true expression, that is our true light. It's like a sunflower that just shines. If you were to try to, you know, make a a sunflower be a cactus, it it just wouldn't express in the same way and it probably wouldn't feel very good and it would it it wouldn't work ultimately. And well, nature, you know, just on that, it's like nature contracts when it's dying. Yeah. You know, and it and it expands when it's living. I love that. That's that's it. Yeah. And honor that if nothing else. Stay open and expand and you're living and you you can contract when you die. And I think that people who are alive start dying and they're not dead before they have before they really should. Yeah. You know, not that anybody should do one thing or the other, but you know, like you know what I mean? It's an energy line, right? So if you you're moving from fear and you're contractive all the time and you're like, "Oh no, I have to watch out for this world. I have to protect myself." Okay? And then you have to protect yourself more. And then you constantly find more and more things that you need to protect yourself from because you're come from your disposition is fear towards most of the world. So then in that it becomes more and more contractive. There becomes more and more tightness in the body. And then when you're come from is more rooted towards love. And this is an everyday moment. And there's, you know, a whole another episode would be on like finding safety and nervous system regulation, but we're not going to go into all of that today. We want to really understand the these just this tool, this tool and the come from. But in that why I say that is it's an everyday every moment opportunity to consciously choose to have a disposition towards coming from love and then coming from our our truest expression our our soul's expression and to find that place within that's so pure I feel like is the deepest act of love because it's like that's the part that I believe when each human on the planet planet is fully in their truest expression from their soul. I believe we'll will live in a harmonious world naturally because every single person will be here doing what they're excited to do, what they're passionate about, what what brings them joy, what lights them up and somehow because of how interconnected we are, we'll have everything we need, right? I mean, everyone holds a different, you know, you could call it a frequency or um like a snowflake is like a different pattern, you know. No, no two things on this earth are made the same. Yeah. And it's the same with humans, you know, everyone has something really special and unique to them to offer this world. And when we honor our life, I do believe the best way to do it is to honor that soulful expression as well. You know, I I really do think that that um no one is better than anyone because everyone is uniquely special and the most original thing person on this planet and has something to offer that no one else can offer. Mhm. And I'm not talking about an necessarily an occupation, but there's something that is inside of all of us that we sharing to the world is a gift to the world. It's what we're here to do. And you know, there's a lot of mythology about this. And there's a lot of ancient wisdom around finding your your purpose. And uh it's where the word question comes from is there was a time in life to go on a quest. Yeah. You know, and to to because you got some questions. you know, and those are the things you find out on the quest, you know, and and um in other communities, you know, in native communities, they they have vision quests, you know, where they go out for a set amount of days and without food or water and sort of go inward to discover what it is that they're here to give to the world, which I think is such a beautiful way to structure um the unfurlment of a human being. Yeah. Is to actually go in and do that work and have it set up so the community supports you in that work. And I think that's where we're maturing as a western society as we're starting to look at the things that we've created over the past few hundred years. And you know the come from a lot of it has been fear. And so the results of that has been more fear. you know, we live in either a really scary world or a really loving, amazing, you know, in either in heaven or hell depending on your uh your vantage point. So, yeah. And I I'd love to touch on some of that. Yeah. Yeah. Please. And um because I think what what you're speaking to is Attention as the Currency of the Universe very relevant to the come from because when you go on a deep inner journey or vision quest and you really spend time within yourself, you're going to find and I know this from experience and doing it myself like deeper and deeper come froms within where it's like you might be on the surface of understanding what coming from love even is, right? And and I know it within myself. I'm finding deeper and deeper layers of what love is the deeper I go within, right? And and deeper layers of what I am the more I go within. And when you spend time connecting and going more into the depths of yourself, then you're come from is going to be more from the depths within yourself. And so the further in you go, the further out you'll grow. And so like really like spending that time and that energy to like be within and and look at the essence of like who you are and get to know it and get to, you know, explore those inner parts of self that maybe are ready to to grow something. And so when you can have that look at yourself, then you know when you get those moments and maybe if anyone listening has had those like even epiphies about part of why you're alive, you know, maybe it's an energy you bring, maybe you're really funny, maybe you bring a lot of joy, maybe you bring a lot of light and it and and sometimes you might connect with like, oh my gosh, part of my come from here is just to share more light, you know, like like some of and and in that it's not so much about an occupation, it's about an essence and an energy that will emanate through anything that you do and be. And um c can you speak to that because a lot of that doesn't make any sense to some people who who who aren't familiar with this sort of language of like eminence and essence and being and what do you mean? So, here's an example that I can give from my life. When I was younger, I was I loved performing. I loved being on stage. When I was 9 years old, my first like I was played Lucy and Your Good Man, Charlie Brown. And I like I loved it. Oh my god, I felt so alive. I felt so in my soul. And it was and um so I was a performer. I was a dancer for a long time. I did show choir and competitive dance. And like it was a big part of my journey to be a performer. And then I got older and I started like becoming more in touch with myself. And I was I asked myself one day, why do I feel so alive when I'm on stage? And I feel like someone hasn't met me yet until they've seen me on stage. And and I had this feeling like, yeah, you don't know me until you've seen me on stage. And then I questioned myself. I went within and I was like, "What's that about?" Like, "How old were you when you were questioning yourself about this?" Yeah. I was probably 21. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. I was probably in my early 20s when I really started going into like my spiritual inner journey. Uhhuh. And I was, you know, doing standup comedy at the time and I was performing and I loved it. And I still had this feeling that like cuz when I wasn't performing, I was like fun and connected and all of that, but I still felt like I was hiding a part of myself. And so when I looked at that, I asked myself an honest question. What if I were to live life in the fullest essence that I feel I am when I'm performing all the time? And what if I were that fully alive all the time that I didn't need the permission slip of a stage to make me feel so alive? Mhm. And what if I could contribute that essence everywhere I went with every person I met? What would that be like? Because I think something that I'd find in performing was deep presence and deep presence with myself. And I think once I was able to look at that and recognize that, I realized that I could find that same level of expression and aliveness in every moment of my life. And I didn't need the permission slip of a a stage to give me that because life is the biggest stage in every moment. And it really is every person you're interacting with in this grand play like this is the play. And I was like into plays and and all of that. And I was like, why do I need to just find it there? Why can't I just live it every day? And that shifted within me. And then all of a sudden my need to be on stage shifted because I was like, oh, I don't need to go there to express. I can express it all the time. So maybe I will sometimes, but my come from in doing that is going to be completely different because I'm not needing it to feel alive. I'm always alive. The world's a stage. It is a stage. Yeah. Old Billy Shakespeare. It's a stage. Yeah. You know that I resonate with that a lot. A lot of the things that you said was like, man, is it hot in here? No. I I you know, similarly, yeah, share your experience. Yeah. I I I have very uh similar experience with that, though. my my realizations were a little later in my life. Uh but that doesn't matter. I mean, you get there when you get there. But I sort of, you know, I would tour, for those of you who don't know, I used to play music. Uh and I still do play music. You were playing music all day, but I was touring uh a lot. And uh in the years when I was touring um there came a point where you know I used to like dance on stage and sing and really like uh be uh entertaining in the with the audience. And there came a point where I just I I had like a I I called it at the time an identity crisis where um sort of some of the gold of that some of the some of the you know lessons I got was one was the bus that got me here is not the bus that's going to keep me here. I I had to without knowing the term come from change the come from in why I was performing on stage. And you know a lot of it was because of wanting attention and wanting validation and acceptance from the audience. Now that is of course wanting something from the outside to come inside. So that's outside in and that's fear. Uh relating it back to the come from that's a contraction that's shrinking and that's from a trauma of not feeling Performance, Validation & Power like I had enough attention for what I thought was enough. And you know it's interesting. I just want to zoom in on attention really quick because attention is what creates the universe. So when we zoom into anything, we have atoms that are held together by energy and there's subatomic particles. And the way that I understand it is that subatomic particles are too small to see but we can track them by the trails that they make. And when we are looking at them, they make trails. And when they are not being looked at, they don't make trails. I don't know how they came to that conclusion, but the conclusion from that conclusion is that they respond to our attention. M so this field of infinite possibilities of molecules and atoms that are joined together by energy uh that create our universe that create you and I and the soil maker and anything else that you zoom into there's just little atoms held together by energy well that are it's all created by where we place our attention because if you're not looking at it it doesn't exist at all So with that understanding, attention is no joke. Attention is the currency of the universe. And so probably the ultimate currency. Yeah, it is. And someone wanting some attention, you know, we we scoff at that and laugh at that, feel guilty about that. But that, you know, that's a real want. Now if you want it from a not enoughness that's a fear come from. Uh but there's nothing wrong with attention. It's just your relationship to it. So if you're if attention is part of you know if you relate to it through love in placing your attention and focusing your attention on you know what you want and in that way you can relate to attention through love. The come from would be love. Yeah. And you can relate to it with fear. Um but then okay so zooming back out from attention um I needed attention from a place of fear and that was my come from in in performing but my come from was split. So it was that there was a fear part and I was I got to a point where I was sick of the fear part and I was like I am just a a monkey you know uh uh cuz humans are 99.9% monkey and uh I'm a monkey dancing on stage for other monkeys to clap their hands like what what am I doing you know and Uh, and there's nothing wrong with that. That's great. Yeah. And I had to like go through a whole journey to come back to that and be like, you know what? I love doing this. This is great. But what the bus that's going to keep me there, the bus that I did get onto uh with music is and with with a lot of things, but this is the example is that I love music. I love making music. I love creating music. I love performing music. I love expressing the truth of the music when I'm playing music. I love music. And that's the only come from I need to play it. And what I was able to do without really knowing this tool, but sort of, you know, kind of came to, which I'm sure a lot of you out there have already shifted some of your come froms from fear into love. That's what I was doing. Yeah. Without knowing it in this context. But yeah, that's that's I wanted to share that because it just you know what you were saying about performing that it's it's a it's a powerful one and I think that's a a great one to recognize when you're in a situation especially the attention you know I could relate to that with when I was performing as well there was also a part that like that wanted more attention that wanted more validation that psychologically you could go oh she's a middle child, she wanted more attention, you know, and like and didn't didn't get enough attention. And you you could very clearly kind of psychologically look at that. And I remember also recognizing that within myself and I was like, "Oh, if I'm doing this in any way from from that place, there's there's part of me that wants to shift." And then when I shifted that part, the part that still likes to be on stage is now oriented towards giving. It's like what if I'm here, what am I giving? What am I communicating? Am I in my heart? Am I transmitting more love? And I think so often when that recognition is not there and an energetic thing I see play out and I've worked with clients on as well is when that come from is oriented towards more fear and um disease inside because you need the validation. you need something to fill that void. Then you see many examples in our society of people who have a huge stage presence or they're huge musicians or they're huge actors and they get all of this attention, but then they don't know what to do with all of that energy because it was coming from a void. So it actually then because it was coming from their void, they're creating more of a void and then it becomes like a drug. Mhm. And it becomes like I need this drug and it's like it's like doing a really I'm siphoning all this energy from all of these people and and then what do I do with all this energy that I've siphoned and then when I don't have this energy I have to find ways to siphon energy from other people rather than when you're in a come from of what am I giving and what what am I giving love then there's going to be love coming back. And I think a big problem that has occurred in our world with people who um have, you know, are on stage or have been celebritized is this weird power dynamic that happens where one people are giving their power away to said person and the come from there is often maybe not enoughness. It's like if I'm throwing my power away at someone on stage thinking that they're almost like a god or something you know sometimes there can be a genuine come from of like inspiration and love and like wow my heart is just open in their presence like there's something here that does happen totally and a lot of times when you see an audience it's just their energies I see I see energy like leave their body and it's like no one's even in their body and it's almost like just giving it all, giving their power away. But when that come from is love within, then they get then you get love back in those situations. When the person on stage is in love, then there becomes a reciprocal love that can actually build in a room. I've I've you know, speaking to that, I've felt that on both sides. Yeah. Um, and when it's love, it's like it's like you're there's so much safety in the room. It really like does feel uh familial. It feels like like Yeah. Like, you know, we're all we're all here. Yeah. And when when my come from in singing is from love, it's really just focusing on the truth of the song, the truth of the material and what I have to express. And when that becomes more important than trying to impress people and have them clap for me, uh I'm rooted in love, aligning with the universe of love, and the whole thing just ripples throughout. I mean it just changes the field in the room and then when it's fear uh you know unconsciously for for years a lot of the time leading up to this sort of identity crisis I was talking about was every night there would be you know 500 to500 something like that you know people clapping and so much energy in the room and we're really giving giving our all and playing music and you know getting all this energy and it's such a high you know because it just is like there it's without even consciously being aware of the siphoning and stuffing like stuff like that um cuz I was not aware of that at all but it was more like I was aware of my energy going super high when people were clapping and then the next day when nothing was happening feeling like [ __ ] and realizing this is how people die in this profession. This is how people get lost in the the the ups and downs of of performance is because you get such a big high and then your normal day is nothing. But only if you're relating to it in that way. Only if you're putting you're giving power to you know people clapping for you. And so I realized you know I can't one of the The Tree Metaphor — Roots, Growth & Waste things I did out of defense which was still a fear come from but it helped me shift out of it was the first step was like I'm not going to care at all about people clapping about neutrality. Probably powerful step. Yeah. Yeah. It was like I I can't give stock into that because I can't control that. And if I can just focus on me being true to the material, I'll never be shaken by whether they clap or whether they don't. It's nice if they do, but the more I It's like a drug, you know? The more you feed into it, the more you need it. And so yeah, I had to shift out of that of just like, okay, like I'm just I'm just going to play what's in my heart and I'll measure myself by how how much truth I expressed that night. Mhm. As opposed to how much how loud the audience was. That used to be the metric. Yeah. You know, and I think that's a common metric. Yeah. Yeah. And I think when you're in that pattern, you're out of control. Yeah. Absolutely. And I think there's such a wisdom in in being able to recognize, as you said, like when you start to need that energy externally, it becomes an an act of giving the power away. And I think so many I think this topic is so important because so many people literally lose their lives over it. Yeah. like amazing, talented, awesome people, too. We We're worshiping people who are killing themselves through a drug addiction that we're all subscribing to and no one's talking about it. So, we're going to talk about it. Um because Yeah. And the come from is love. Because the come from do I wasn't questioning your come from. But the but answer Yeah. But the but the come from is love because the come from is to is the desire for people to live in a space of well-being. Yeah. And to be in their power and to be in their connection because I think on a societal level I don't think we'll glorify and idolize celebrities in the future when we're more evolved. I think we'll much more see people as you said like everyone's unique and special but no one's more unique and special than anyone else. Exactly. Like that's the paradigm I I think we're heading towards. And I think in the process of discovering that in our beautiful process of evolution, we've done a lot of giving our power away. So in that situation, the person on stage gives their power away to the audience and then needs other people in order to have power also give their power away to the person on stage. Right? And so if I can follow that for a second is when they're giving their power away to the audience, then all of a sudden the person on stage needs other people to have power and then may unconsciously need to control other people to have power, need to find their worth, need to find their energy source from the other people. So then that results in like never being able to be alone, constantly needing people around to siphon energy from, constantly needing people to control because they learn that they get power from other people and other people's attention. And so, you know, if you've been around someone like that, usually you'll feel drained after being around them because being in their presence is is siphoning, right? And it's just the mechanism they've learned, you know, to be Yeah. to to really own that. In my past, I definitely had qualities of that. Yeah, for sure. Totally. And and so many so many of us do. And it's a cool thing to become self-aware of. The positive side of that is when we recognize that and when we can see that within ourselves, then we can recognize that there's another power source available to all of us. And that power source exists within all of us. And when we're moving from internally sourced power, then we don't need to siphon it externally. And actually the power within all of us I believe is where we have our our infinite power source. When you're coming from your soul expression when you're coming from what is within you already you don't need to manipulate or control others. And I think it's it's a epidemic of our time right now where you see people in positions of power, siphoning energy from the masses in order to get power, right? Make them mad, divide people, all of these tactics. React in anger. React in anger, which is also to the sum total of that energy. Yeah. I had a dream once about like this, you know, it was maybe a pictograph of what happens energetically as dreams show up, but people were all protesting and rioting and like angry at what was happening in the politics and in the the politics were just this like machine above the crowd of people who were angry and they were just sucking up all that energy and using it to sustain them. So it was like actually all that attention and all that fear that was propagated was a divisive mechanism in order to gather energy. I think it's the same thing with like politics. I think it's the same thing with like gossip columns. I think it's the same thing with anything that stirs up drama is a siphoning mechanism for attention and energy. And then it's the same thing often with like people performing on stage. if they're not aware, it becomes a siphoning mechanism that propels a whole machine. And that's okay. That's what was. But that's from the disillusionment of like we're disconnected and a come from. I believe that's ultimately fear which is there's not enough energy so I need to steal energy from all these other things externally or I am not enough so I need to find my enoughness and fill this void within me from all these things externally or I am scared so I have to control yeah yeah it's that feeling of disconnection ction from the completeness or the wholeness that that makes you want to consume and be that black hole. Yeah. That just takes in the energy and and it's never enough cuz it's a hole. Yeah. It's a hole. So like it's either going to pour out of you and create or it's going to consume. Yeah. But that's I mean that's that's the way that's the Dao that's the you know the it's the it's the where everything's created from there's a choice there and and there's a and this is to rec to recognize this is important because it gives us the opportunity to shift and I'll say that again and again because it's not wrong what was it's not bad what was have we all have I engaged in some of those mechanisms absolutely has so many of us. Absolutely. And and the gift in that is to find our own inner empowerment and our own inner power. And I remember another example of this was something I experienced when I was in India. And I think there's I think we're moving out of a time of even needing to outsource our powers even in a spiritual way to teachers and leaders as like they have the answers and I don't. they have a connection to God in the universe and I don't like there's been so much of like we need an intermediary for our connection and I remember being at this camp in India and I love India and I love a lot of my teachers there so this has nothing to do with that but what I saw is I saw a guru on stage and I remember being there and walking around Aging, Wisdom & Maturity the room and and everyone was saying oh well Swami said this swami said that and I just remember looking at people going like, "Well, what do you say?" Like, if we're just repeating the teachings of someone else without actually reflecting and going into our own inner discernment and going like, "Do I really feel that within my being? Oh, I feel that part of it, but I would say it may be this way or I'd shifted that way." Like, we're not in our power. We're just taking on information and living from the mind versus the heart and the soul. M and so I say that because there's a recognition even when we're speaking here and I say this to like anyone that I do energy work or teach with. I'm like and I say this to you all the time like anything I say I invite you to filter through your own discernment through your own lens through your own sovereign sovereign being. Take what resonates and let the rest go. Because you're a sovereign individual who has the capacity to know within you what's true and right for you. And what's true and right for you may be different than what's true and right for me. Both are okay. Totally. So use your own empowerment. Source your own wisdom versus needing to externalize your wisdom. or when you read a book, find the source of where that's true within you rather than just intellectualizing it and then the come from and your expression of that wisdom will be either embodied or intellectual, right? Yeah. Yeah. I feel like you could share on the difference between those on on books. Yeah. And like intellectualizing wisdom as a come from. Yeah. versus like embodying wisdom as it come from like what's your thoughts on that? Well, yeah, I I I would say that yeah, I admire a lot of people. I read a lot of books and there's so much wisdom from other people's experiences that I am constantly gathering. When my come from is I'm gathering it because I don't have it. That's the fear come from. when I'm gathering it because I love knowledge and I love learning. That's a love come from. And a lot of times if my book is in my hands, it'll be a little bit of both. Yeah. You know, sometimes it's like ah turn off that and let's dive into this. I don't have to think about that or you know, whatever it is. Um I'm not Well, can I say something about that? Sure. Yeah. And so like something I invite in that conversation is the awareness of like anything that we're reading and I truly believe this or any wisdom that we're reading. I think we read them for a reason and I think those books are out there for an incredibly powerful reason and many of them have influenced my life in such powerful ways. But I think the reason we're reading them is to access a frequency and an energy that already exists within us. Yes. That wants to turn online. Yeah. Yeah. And I and I hear that and and I totally agree. And the way that that makes like an abundance of sense for me is like with music in like singing if you're singing a song. Another example of this is like if you're trying to just match what somebody else has done, um you're looking at them as the guru. Yeah. You know, and when you're tapping into the truth of the words that resonated with your soul and your experience in your life, something comes out of you that is that is the wisdom of that song and and like your own ability to to sing and express that comes through when you focus on why it's true for you and why your heart chose os it in the first place. Yeah. Um and I think that's Yeah. That's why we read books and all the wisdom is within. You know, sometimes sometimes it's just a permission slip. It I think it often is and it's fun because we're human and we're alive. It's fun to have the experience of reading the book or it's fun to have the discovery of the healing modality. But when the you know when you're coming from the place of love and coming also from the remembrance of connection versus disconnection coming from I'm drawn to this because I know something within me is wanting to turn you know turn on and activate then you're coming from another distinction is empowerment versus disempowerment and so you're approaching all of these discoveries from an empowered place. I'm in my power right now, which I'd say is a love come from. I know that I'm enough. I know that I have these things within me versus like I don't and I'm searching, you know, and then and what I see often is there's no right or wrong in this, but when you can truly sit with yourself enough or do the inner work that's needed to even get to this place because I also recognize in saying this that it's easy to intellectualize knowing that you're coming from, you know, the place of you're enough and it's out there and there's a difference in feeling it in an embodied way. Yeah. A very big difference. And and if if you're not there yet and you're like, "How do I get there?" Give yourself the grace and give yourself the allowance of life to show you if you choose it. And and and and allow the tools and the people and the permission slips to show up to help guide you there because they are there for a reason and they do hold a reflection point. But just remember that it's coming from within you and you have that ability. And I I even, you know, say that with people that I'm working with. I'm like, you don't need me. You really don't. It might go faster right now. And maybe there's an orchestration that's brought us together because I hold a frequency that's a really strong permission slip of something that wants to turn on within you. And sometimes when we come in contact with those frequencies cuz we're in this physical realm that will activate and open a lot faster. And I know that when I go to different facilitators or teachers like things do happen quicker. It it helps. It really it just helps versus just doing everything laying on the couch. I have mentors. That's why I have teachers. You know, it's a beautiful thing to like get to engage in, but then to do it from that place of of empowerment I find is just just for the love of of learning and deepening and you know like Yeah. having the developing growing. That's the word. That's that's what I was looking for. Yeah. You know, um, another great example of the come from and how it's relevant, and this may be a confronting one, but occupation. Ooh. Yep. Let's dive in. Why are you doing what you're doing? And why are why are you doing it? You know, why did you go to college to get that degree? Why are you working the job that you're working? is the come from and yeah this is a this is a really honest self-reflection um is the come from fear of if I don't work this job I'm not going to have enough money or if I don't work this job I'm not going to get the approval of my parents or if I don't work this job like you know what is that come from that's making you do what you're doing is it fear or is it love and you'll probably Fear of Death & Plastic Consciousness know the difference by what your relationship to what you're doing is yeah back to what you just that yeah, you know already. You already know. You already know. We're just reminders for what you already know. If you need a little help, we will actually on our website, we have a free work um worksheet. Mhm. For the come from. Yeah. So, anything you want to apply it to. Um it it just helps to just shift some of the fear over to love. It just prompts you and has you fill out different questions so that you can get a better sense for yourself what you're doing, why you're doing it, and whether that's from fear and love and shifting that fear into love. But yeah, back to occupation. Occupation. Yeah. it. And on that too, um I've seen this in I've mentored a lot of people who start companies and I'm really grateful for that experience because it's also made me self-reflect on anytime I'm creating something why I'm doing it. And what I've seen often in entrepreneurs who, you know, have decent success and are out there and then they they hit this wall. Maybe they've been doing their business for like 10 to 15 years is what I find. and they they've had success and then they hit this wall. And one thing I've seen in a couple experiences is when they hit that wall, the reason why it doesn't keep going forward is because sometimes even entrepreneurs are doing that company in order to find their worth and then they're putting their worth into the company itself and then needing the company to prove their own worth. But then at a certain point it hits a block because they put their worth into the company. How much is your company worth? And I'm putting all this time and attention into my company. So yeah, I mean I with the soil maker several times I've put my worth into it and then I've had to take it back. Yeah. It's funny. It happens. It happens. It happens. It's the process. So easy. Yeah. To put the worth I' I've done that with um with work things. I've done that with art in the past where when I first started painting, my worth wasn't in it at all because I didn't want to be a painter. I was just like expressing freely and there was no attachment to it at all. It was like I didn't have an identity around it, anything. And I just started painting and within two months of making abstract art, I had an identity around being an an artist and a creative cuz that's always been a thing. but around a painting specifically. I didn't. And in two months, like people left and right were asking to buy paintings. And so I was like, "Oh, there's something here." Like people are just asking to buy these. And I just started and and they're like having they're looking at them and they're crying and things are coming up within them like, "Okay, there's something here." So, I kept going and I kept painting and um and then I built a whole website and I was regularly selling paintings and and getting decent commissions and then I built this identity and I built this career fast within like a year and um and then and then when I wasn't painting and when people then didn't didn't like my art cuz I was used to just everyone liking it who engaged with it at least all of a sudden I didn't feel worthy as a painter because I had externalized needing external validation for my art when something had just started as this pure expression and I really got to be like wow I'm giving my power away because I'm used to everyone liking it and now when someone doesn't like it and especially if I'm close to that person and they don't like it then all of a sudden I'm like oh my god God, I'm worthless as a painter. And I like completely put my worth into it. And then I stopped painting. I was like, well, I'm not good, so what's the point? And then like it had to come back online into like, wow, I don't need to give my power away to someone externally as an artist because that's within me and that pure expression is within me. And then the art comes through again and it's free again because it's it's within the soul. And the truth is anything within your soul. And I think this really happens in the art world cuz there's such a mental observation around what's good and what's not and what's like, you know, gallery appropriate and not. But like if something wants to come through from your soul, I truly believe it's for a reason. And even if that's going to resonate with one person or even if that energy just needed to come out of you for that reason to open something like it it has a it has a reason. And your art, your music, your career, your passion isn't going to resonate with everyone, but it is going to resonate to who it's meant for. And when I've let that go, even with my own art, there's certain paintings that I don't like, but I show to someone and they just have broken down crying and they're like, "This speaks to all the parts of me." And I'm just like, "Really?" And and but when it came through, it came through just so strong. And it wasn't for me or even about me. And as soon as I made it about me and about my worth, I gave my power away. Yeah. And and and my come from went from fear and validation in instead of from love and enoughness and like I am worthy no matter what someone else thinks of me. And I think when you get quickly validated in something and then suddenly you're not, it can be so scary to be like, "Wait a The Come From in Climate Action second. Am I even worth it?" Cuz everyone used to praise me for this and now I'm I'm I'm not getting that. Wait a minute. Wait a second. I kind of liked that. I I did. Yeah. And so there's an honesty in that. There's like a wow. Like there was a part of me that felt like satiated and was like, "Wow, I'm good at this." and and and on some level it works like you know like I I had a partner at the time who told me my art was great. I believed it and I made great art. Like I just like it was it was constantly reimprinted in me and I'm forever grateful for that because without that I probably at that fragile of a state wouldn't have done it because he was constantly like that's great that's amazing. And I was just like, "Yeah, I'm great. I'm amazing." And like every like so like it worked. It [ __ ] it I'm grateful like it really worked. At the same time, I was also giving my power away to that external validation because as soon as I didn't have it, where's my drug? Yeah. I had to find a deeper place. And even now in my art exploration, I'm like, I need to go even deeper than I was going and I need to find a deeper place. And and I don't even know what's going to come out the other side of that. Ooh. Okay. I feel like now is a good time to relate the come from to soil. Yeah. And in that Yeah. There's something about tree roots. Yeah. So tree roots get nutrients and get water only for a certain amount of time and then the root the hairs that are taking in the water die. And they have to grow new roots. Wow. And roots of course go deep. Yeah. You know, and the deeper they go and the wider they go, mostly they're going wide, by the way. Mhm. Um there's only a few roots that are like anchors that are going really deep in a tree, but most of them are going wide. And if we can learn anything from nature, and we can learn a lot from nature. Uh roots have to keep growing in order to get the nutrients. And so artists, it's the same way. We have to keep going deeper into ourselves. we have to go deeper uh horizontally and vertically. And um it just reminded me of that of like you you know at first you know they they you're planted and then you get watered and you know it's like all right now you're on your own and the and the trees have to find water by themselves at a certain point you know and the only way to do that is to keep going and so you'll see a tree and its roots are on the other side of the street. Yeah. You know because that's where the water is. That's where the That's where cuz their roots have already got have already shut off over here. Mhm. No, that and so the roots are only here are active. That relates so much to to to being an artist because you do like I I find that you have to go deeper and as soon as I catch myself as soon as I become on autopilot with anything even subtly like oh like you know there was a point with painting where I just knew how to make a solid painting quickly and like but it but then there was a point where I almost like it like became too monotonous even though every single one was completely different and there was no one style. Um but there was a point where I was like I need to expand. Yeah. Like I'm doing the same thing. I'm using the same materials. It was mostly about the kind of paint I was using. I was like I'm using the same materials and there's a part of me that's not satiated by this. There's a part of me that wants to go deeper and discover and use my hands in different ways and like and explore that. And so yeah, can I jump in? So like just like a tree, you're not just by yourself, there are other trees and they've already found water in other places. And so the fungi, which is like the social network of trees, is sharing those resources between the trees. Yeah. So then they're sharing information. They're sharing, oh, you know, some tree over there is getting attacked by bugs. Everybody better get this chemical up because then it's going to Closing Reflection — Love Creates More Love attract the beneficial insects that'll get rid of the ones that are tearing up that tree over there. And we learn from these other mistakes. like if an artist goes down a path, you know, it's like, "Oh, I already tried that, guys. Don't don't do that one, you know, or or whatever it is." I think the community of artists is another way to grow horizontally. um in in having more inspiration for I know for for myself in music and and and learning and um just being inspired by by others you know and um that you know is such a big catalyst of of growth. Yeah. Which could be other people. For me I think the deepening is is being more inspired by nature. Yeah. Because nature is others and like the trees and the earth and like you know expanding beyond I love that our own isolated self and and that inner connection and like the art of of God of creation of whatever you want to call it is like what an inspiration that is. Well, in the come from of trees, that's why it's a tree on the cover is like the I'll show it again just in case you jumped in at the end here, but the this is a sapling, right? And uh you know, trees they're come from is growth. Yeah. You know, so it's love. It falls into the love category because it's expanding from the inside out. Literally the rings of a tree start on the inside out and you know what that it's made of is the waste of a tree. Say more on that. So uh the it's called the xyllem which is the tree's waste. So they put all the waste into the center and then it grows outward. And then the outside is the is the phem. So there's the phum which is all the water going up and then the xyllem is the middle that creates the rings. And the way that we see the rings is because it grows fast in the summer and slow in the winter. So it's light and then dark and the dark is smaller because it grows less. So those that's what makes up the rings of a tree and the that's that's how it grows from the inside out. So again, we're aligning, you know, with with love. And um the tree never goes backwards. It doesn't, you know, unless we're putting it in an environment like a bonsai where it's doesn't have enough space for its roots and we're forcing it to stay small, right? That's just out of alignment with nature because double click on that one. It has so much to offer as a mature tree. Mature trees literally have so much physical things to offer other trees in the forest around it. Mhm. There's resources. There's knowledge that gets passed through the fungal network. There's um even as it's dying, it's being consumed to feed the other trees. And uh the way that it feeds and the rings grow from its waste is is a lot like a soil maker too because and a soil maker is set up like a tree. I mean the bottom half goes underground and that's where the roots are. That's where the processing is. That's where it's like making the soil and then this is the canopy. Yeah. You know, this is where it's stretching out. And um when the the waste goes in the center Yeah. and it grows the soil in that way from the inside out. And so even the come from of the soil maker is love. Yeah. You know, it's it's injecting love into the land. Yeah. So I want to go back to Yeah. Yeah. the trees, the mature trees in the forest and like how that also reflects in our our society and you know I think so often when it comes to like maturing and aging there's so much fear around that in our society there's so much like oh no what happens if I age or if I have wrinkles or gray hair or this or that and there's so much fear around those things whereas like in the come from of love in a society I'd like to be a part of the creation of and find more within myself as well is like in the come from of love. There's a recognition of the beauty and the power that comes in becoming a mature tree and there's a power in like becoming like a true wisdom holder, a wisdom keeper. And like what a gift to our world is if when we're aging we're not so worried about like wrinkles and fine lines and this and that and we're like oh like you know other concerns with aging. We're like oh I get to become a wisdom keeper. I get to become an elder. Yeah. And like I'm like I'm so grateful like we have so many amazing elders in our life as dear friends and like I'm so grateful for anyone who has walked that path into their truest maturity the wealth of knowledge and holds that knowledge and that wisdom because they've embraced the maturing process. But there can also be a fear come from which could be fear of aging. It could be fear of not being enough. It could be fear of not being received by society. It could be a fear of not getting work in the world. It could be fear of Yeah. I you know all of these things. Yeah. I think that when a tree is growing and maturing, there probably isn't a thought there's not there's not a culture around staying small unless you're in a desert actually. Um wow interesting. If it's in a desert, it serves the tree to be small. Yeah. Because it doesn't have to then take as many resources in. Just like it it's a bonsai, you know, it's it serves that tree. Uh there's rubber trees you could buy this big that sometimes are are quite old in houses. Yeah. Yeah. You see them on the street and they're huge and it's uh it's crazy to have such a big life, a big soul in such a small container. Yeah. Yeah. And it's like Yeah. As we mature, we grow into our our souls and our expressions and our like Yeah. Gosh, what a gift to like get to be a mature tree and to get to be an elder. Yeah. And and I think that you know we have a fear the come from in trying to be younger than you are. Now I say this from a position of privilege. I'm 31. Right. So a lot of people who are older are like you don't know. And you're right. But what I will say is but you do know from where you are and I know from others who are at you know one of my best friends and mentors is a hundred years old and um I've been friends with him for over a decade and we've spent a lot of time together and I have many friends who are old most of my friends are actually quite old not old love you guys you know to me to most of both of our friends. You're talking to two people who both of our friends are 30 plus years older than us pretty regularly. And there's nothing better than the wisdom that comes from elders who are mature in their uh and and sort of been through the rights of passage. That's why they have rights of passage. But um what I what I wanted to say was that I think the fear come from it's it's the fear of death. Mhm. Right. the inevitability of of becoming the then compost, you know, and and I think in a forest, you know, you see every stage of life. You see the seeds, you see the saplings, you see the the young trees, the adult trees, the elder trees, the petrified wood, the decomposing trees. You know, some trees are saved and others are consumed and scientists don't exactly know why, but I think it's because some trees are worth saving, are worth holding on to for the knowledge. Yeah. And that they provide. Yeah. And I think when we're operating as conscious as we can around not being afraid of death and embracing our life and embracing our wisdom and like getting to become wisdom keepers, I think a lot in our society will be healed and whole. And I think the reason why sometimes we have, you know, an immature society is because there is this holding on to being a child or a teenager, teenager, a teenager. It's like in in and just to call it out in LA, it's like the Peter Pan syndrome, you know? It's like, you know, the the never wanting to grow up like being in their 40s and like 30s and and staying 15 or 16 or 19 and Yeah, you can. And you can and there's nothing wrong with that. The city, it's a great place to be a kid. Yeah. Especially if you're an adult. There's no there's no judgment in that. Like every every human has the right to have the soul experience that they want to have. And if that's the soul experience that you want to have, like go have it. And there's beauty in that too. And at the same time, what I find because I've I've held this space for many individuals over the last decade, probably thousands of hours doing energy work and sitting with people's inner worlds. And what I find is is oftent times in those situations when someone's holding on to their youth, it comes from a place of not resolving that part of themselves who didn't feel worthy or enough when they were 20 or when they were 18 or when they were 25. And so even often when men, not always, but when men date younger women, they they one haven't resolved that younger part of themselves. So they're trying to do so through that relationship. And two, there's a big fear of aging. There's a big fear of death. And so by going back in time, and I've had many men share this with me, there by going back in time, they don't have to face their own mortality. And so then they try to go back to the sapling and they try to become the sapling. And and then I've seen this process so many times. The moment someone embraces exactly where they're at in their natural maturity, especially when it comes to love, one, they usually find love right away, and they embrace the wisdom. And even in our culture with with men like chasing younger women, I find it like, oh my god, to get to be with a wisdom tree of a woman. Like, what's that like? Rather than going back in time, rather than like, you know, trying to be with a child. And so I think there's a a disease going on. And again, there's no judgment towards it, but there's an invitation because I know that when these things are invited forward, it's going to lead to more people having love and more people having deep connection and like embracing their power and their wisdom and like because that's what we even leave these lives with. We don't leave these lives with these bodies. We leave these lives with what we've learned, what we've grown, what we've given, and what we've given back. And I'm excited to continue to mature within myself and to continue to cultivate a society that is coming from a place of being excited for every phase of being a tree and being excited for every phase of life because that's what we're here to experience, every phase of it. and actually really celebrating and having our elders and our youth more at the center of our society because like you said their teachers come in and it's funny cuz a lot of the people in our life are either children or elders and I find so much wisdom on both ends of the spectrum. Totally. It's like go talk to a child or an elder and someone who's embraced and they got the answers. It's it's uh Yeah. Yeah. Just embracing the wisdom of uh of nature and you know we don't see forests that often. Mhm. Because and so we don't have the opportunity I think to mirror that. I you know like we see you know like you're driving and like all the landscaping is set up for us and us to extract it. Mhm. Like it's there's no just natural, you know, there is, but you have to go and look for it and find it and hopefully they don't um destroy it. It's it's uh those are the things that I think is really important to keep you know is the forests and and uh yeah well said. Yeah. You know seeing it in nature. Yeah. Seeing it and emulating it and I think that fear of that fear of mortality goes so far as to the how it's embedded in the subconscious and everything we are making. There's so much fear. There's so much fear of death in making plastic and making styrofoam and things that don't die because we're not thinking about death. Why? I don't want to deal with it. I don't I don't want to go there, right? So, we just, you know, what I don't know, throw it in the trash and it ends up, you know, and that's why, you know, this it's like it it it circles back into the circle of life. It honors the circle of life. Yeah. Um Yeah. The fear of death with with plastic. Yeah. Yeah. I think it it's made its way out because that's that's why the come from is so important because everything you create and make and do what I'm doing is because of why I'm doing it. And if it comes from fear, it creates more fear. If it comes from lack, it creates more lack. If it comes from love, it creates more love. Even good things. Even good things. even like regenerative things like it's interesting like when the come from you know is even at like climate spaces sometimes like people are building these technologies but if the come from is fear or not trusting nature or not trusting life what is then made Oh yes okay yeah go for it well well you know I've gotten to you know speak at a lot of these climate aare sort of events. Um, and it's so interesting when you have the lens of the come from Mhm. looking at the solutions. Mhm. And where's the where's the come from on that? You know, like a lot of it a lot of the messaging I'll say this, a lot of the messaging around around climate change and around you know regenerating the earth is a fear come from of the earth is going to uh you know die with without us changing. Mhm. Um and and I don't think that's true. I think we'll die if we don't change. Yeah. The Earth's going to be okay. Earth is going to be fine. It's just got to shake us off. We might not Yeah. We probably might not be here if we don't take care of it. Yeah. It's up to us to do what we got to do for us. And if we keep putting out the fear and, you know, creating more deserts, then we're going to, you know, but but life will eventually restore itself. I think the world is is going to be okay. It's us. we have to think about um how we're how we're conducting ourselves and ultimately our come from. So if the fear messaging is the we're all going to die and uh you know if we don't start recycling plastic or whatever it is you know we're all there's so much pumping of that that it it's met with more fear. Mhm. So you're right like it's like the the intention is good, you know. It's it's sort of like I don't want to pass on this trauma, you know, but but what am I doing? I'm creating more of it. Creating more fear. Yeah. Create more fear. So it's the only way to really have an effect in the climate space is to message from love and say what is the fullest expression of this earth? What is the fullest expression when we actually create the environment to regenerate the earth? How cool could it be? How cool? How amazing could it be? How can we ignite the imagination of people to see how wonderful the the world really could look like in the reality that we're living? How it could be heaven? Yes. As opposed to hell. It could be really just the the the most wonderful garden of all time. And and and who isn't happier in a garden, you know? That's true. And I I think that's that's so wise. isn't so true in like when our come from is oriented towards fear and we're trying to solve something, we're going to create more fear and we're we're moving in the direction of fear. And when our come from is love, we're going to create a paradigm of love. And so the invitation now is if you're listening to this podcast, like if you're coming from love, what are things in the world from love that you'd like to see and like to create and what's sparking your heart and how can you move even if it's one step towards that thing right now? Yeah. And let's keep those conversations going. We're going to have to continue this in another episode. Yeah. come from two part two part two at some point. And so um we're going to dive deeper on the come from, but check out our website for more on the come from worksheet. The worksheet will help you figure out what you're doing, why you're doing it, and help you shift some of the fear into love so that you can be the fullest expression of your soul. And one more thing I'll say is if you have something in your soul, you were speaking to this earlier with the paintings or with the art or whatever. If it's coming from the soul, yeah, good luck not honoring it. Yeah, good luck. I mean, it's the most painful existence there is. I've tried it time and time again. It doesn't work. It doesn't work. It's painful. Yeah. And when you suppress your soul's expression over the course of a lifetime, you end up with a lot of chronic diseases and a lot of extra problems that can be avoided when you align to your purpose and you align to what is within you trying to get itself out. Again, flowers bloom. Yeah, that's the point. What is inside you needs to come out. And that is my hope and wish for everyone on this planet. Yeah. To be the fullest expression of themselves. And the only way I can help that is by trying to do that myself. And I think we each have our own, you know, expression expression and what we're what we're here to do. And honor that that is the of all the possibilities. We are human. Mo most likely you're human if you're listening to this or not. You could be a a dog or a cat in a house. You could be an alien on another planet. Whatever you are, be that and um you know be the expression that is that is within you. That is that is the best thing that um that um it's the best come from that I currently it's the best come from that I currently know of and I think is the best come know of and I think is the best come from as well cuz within myself anytime I from as well cuz within myself anytime I hold it back it is painful anytime it's hold it back it is painful anytime it's free free life works. life works. Yeah. That is that is the best thing Yeah. And um with that we we thank you all for being here and this is Alchemy Pot and we invite you to check out our website website alchemyot.com and ask us questions that we could maybe answer on the podcast. Yeah. Um and we would we would just love to create a connection uh with with you the listener uh the person the individual the soul who's listening right now. Um, your questions and your comments and your feedback all creates a a a circle and a loop and a relationship that uh feeds the soil of uh our life, our expression, our garden, um our company. The alchemy pot, the soil maker is the ultimate alchemy pot. Um, we would recommend that um if if you can pre-order one now, if this is in the future, buy one. Yeah. And we also have um if you're resonating with any of this and things are speaking to you, we invite you to share this podcast with with someone that you think might also resonate with it. And we also have a Patreon on our website where it's a growing community and that will help us keep this podcast going. Yeah. At very minimum, subscribe to the podcast and keep listening, keep tuning in and thank you so much. Thank you. And thank you, Derek. Thank you, Lizzie. Yeah. And until next time, thank you so much for listening and thanks for caring. Thanks for caring.
